Portland Actors Ensemble/Shakespeare in the Parks is proud to announce our 49th season!

For the first time since 2007, we’re proud to present Romeo and Juliet as our Twilight Tragedie. For this classic story of doomed love amidst communal strife, director Erica Terpening will be highlighting the divisive misunderstandings between youth and adults, a theme that continues to be resonant in our communities to this day. In this production, as in so many others, PAE is proud to be introducing a new generation of professional performing artists, many of them performing for the first time to Portland audiences. Running Thurs-Fri-Sat-Sun, July 6-29, 7:30 pm. Stay tuned for location, cast information and additional programming to be announced!

For our touring production in collaboration with Willamette Shakespeare, PAE / Shakespeare in the Parks is presenting The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [REVISED] by Adam Long, Daniel Singer & Jess Winfield. Directed by Sam Dinkowitz, this hilarious romp through the entire canon of Shakespeare’s works allows artists and audiences alike to legitimately say that you’ve seen it all. Stay tuned for locations, cast announcements and further programming to be announced! Opening July 29 and closing on September 3.
