Portland Actors Ensemble announces 2017 season auditions for Troilus and Cressida and The Winter’s Tale

PAE has been producing Shakespeare-in-the-Parks productions in Portland for 48 years with the mission of providing financially accessible classical theater in a non-traditional environment. Audition dates, by appointment only (pick one day or the other for a 30 minute time-slot):

Friday, March 31, 6 – 10 PM

Saturday, April 1, 5 – 10 PM

Callbacks: Sunday, April 2, 12 – 6 (You will not be asked to attend for the whole time)

Auditions Location: The Fine Arts Building, Concordia University, corner of NE 27th Ave and NE Highland St.

Please bring 2 headshots and resumes if you are auditioning for both, 1 headshot and resume for auditioning for a specific show. Prepare one classical monologue of your choice (25 lines maximum). Musicians are encouraged to audition as well. Please bring an instrument and be ready to play/sing a short song of your choice.

Troilus and Cressida will run July 6 – July 29 (Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings) in Lone Fir Cemetery in Portland.

The Winter’s Tale will run July 28-September 4 (Saturdays and Sundays, plus Friday evenings Aug 4-18, and Labor Day afternoon) in various parks, universities, and vineyards in Portland and local wine country.

Compensation: This is a paid position. I’m sorry, but we have no letter of agreement with Equity at this time.
